Lisenby Third Graders Receive Dictionaries
Herman Jackson, a member of the Rotary Club, presented the third
graders at Lisenby Elementary School with the Webster’s Dictionary for Students.
This was a generous gift from the Rotary Club that will be of great benefit to
all third graders at Lisenby. There was such a joy in the eyes of the boys
and girls to have their very own dictionaries. The Rotary Club had their
Four-Way Test of things they think, say or do in the cover of each book:
First, Is it the TRUTH?
Second, is it FAIR to all concerned?
Third, will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIP?
Fourth, will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
