2008-2009 Dance Team

One of the newest athletics at Carroll High school is its very own Dance Team!

CHS Dance Team performs at pep rallies, footbal games, and basketball games. They also dance at other events such as parades and pageants.  This is a versatile group of girls, enjoying all types of music, forms of dance, and dance attire.  Most of the dances are choreographed and music is selceted by dacne team members.

Tryouts are held in the Spring for the football season and again in October for basketball season.  Girls desiring to be a member of the dance team will need to maintain a 70 overall average, refrain from being sent to ISS, and secure 2 favorable teacher recommendations.  Cost will vary from year to year.

This fall the CHS Dance Team will participate in its first Competition and hopes to compete often.

The CHS Dance Team raises funds throughout the year with all types of fundraisers.  The Dance Team is funded mainly through parnet support and donations from community business.
