Following are a series of tables which include most of the things that can be found on the uniform and what they represent. Included are the ribbons, honor unit insignia, academic awards, marksmanship awards, shoulder cords, and arcs.

JROTC Ribbons

Medal for Heroism Awarded to any JROTC cadet who performs an act of heroism. N/A	Superior Cadet Awarded annually to one oustanding cadet in each LET level. N/A	Distinguished Cadet Awarded annually to one cadet who exhibits the highest degree of experience in scholastics. N-1-1
Academic Excellence Awarded annually to one cadet in each LET level for maintaining highest school academic grades. N-1-2	Academic Achievement Awarded annually to those cadets who maintain a grade of "A" in all academic subjects. N-1-3	Perfect Attendance Awarded to cadets with no unexcused absence during each quarter/semester. N-1-4
Student Government Awarded to cadets elected to a student government office. N-1-5	LET Service Awarded to cadets successfully completing first quarter/semester of training of each LET year. N-1-6	Academic Achievement Awarded to cadets who appear on the school-wide Honor Roll N-1-7
Volunteer Community Service Awarded to cadets who conduct 24 hours of independant community service. N-1-8	Brigate Meritorious Service Awarded annually to one cadet who cleary exceeds that expected of cadets of their grade or experience. N-1-9	Brigade Ribbon Awarded annually to the Bde Cdr & Staff completing the fall semester in their position. N-1-10
Varsity Athletics Awarded annually to cadets that excel in varsity sports. N-2-1	Physical Fitness Awarded annually to cadets who maintain excellent physical fitness.* N-2-2	JROTC Athletics Awarded annually to cadets that excel in ROTC athletics. N-2-3
Optional by SAI N-2-4	Optional by SAI N-2-5	DAI/SAI Instructor Leadership Awarded annually to one cadet per LET level who displays the highest degree of leadership. N-3-1
Personal Appearance Awarded annually to cadets who consistently present an outstanding appearance. N-3-2	Proficiency Awarded annually to cadets who have demonstrated an exceptionally high degree of leadership, academic achievement, and performance of duty. N-3-3	Drill Team Awarded annually to drill team members. N-3-4
Orienteering Awarded annually to cadets who are members of orienteering teams. N-3-5	Color Guard Awarded annually to members of the color/honor guard. N-3-6	Rifle Team Awarded annually to rifle team members. N-3-7
Adventure Training Awarded annually to cadets who are members of adventure training type units. N-3-8	Commendation Awarded to cadets whose performance of duty exceptionally exceeds that expected of a cadet of his grade and experience. N-3-9	Good Conduct Awarded annually to cadets who have demonstrated outstanding conduct throughout the school year. N-3-10
Summer Camp Awarded to cadets for summer camp participation. N-3-11	Drum & Bugle Corps Awarded to cadet members of the HS band participating in an activity along with the Cadet Corps. N-3-12	Honor Company Awarded to all members of the Company selected as Honor Company at the AFI. N-3-13
Best Platoon Awarded to all members of the best platoon in a multi-platoon company. N-3-14	Best Squad Awarded to all members of the best squad in each platoon. N-3-15	Parade Ribbon Awarded to cadets who have participated in local community parades. N-4-1
Recruiting Awarded to cadets who recruit students into the JROTC program each quarter/semester. N-4-2	Command Position Awarded to cadets for successfully completing a semester in a command position. N-4-3	Staff Position Awarded to cadets for successfully completing a semester on staff. N-4-4
AFI Participation Awarded to cadets for successfully participating in the Annual Formal Inspection. N-4-5	Service Learning Awarded annually to cadets who participate in service learning projects. N-4-6	Excellent Staff Performance Awarded annually to cadet staff officers for excellent performance. N-4-7

*In order to recieve the Physical Fitness ribbon, male cadets must run one mile in 8:30 or less ‒ females in 10:45 or less.
