Mrs. Ansley Godwin
I was born and raised in Santiago, Chile. I moved to the United States when I was 14 years old not knowing any English. I attended Spain Park High School in Hoover, Alabama, and graduated in 2008. I then attended UAB and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Language and Literature. I then obtained a Masters Degree in Education from Auburn University. I am married to Adam Godwin (CHS Alumni '98) and we have three children; (Hazel Anne, Wilson Oliver, and Leonard Johnson). We live in Ozark. This will be my fourth year at Carroll and I am very excited to share and teach my native language.
I am also very excited to teach my culture outside the classroom setting by cooking, creating crafts, learning dances, and celebrating holidays and traditions in Latin America especially my native country Chile.
