Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Melanie Loff

I am a ninth grade teacher at Carroll High School. In 2017, I started the Outdoor Adventure Club as a way to share my love for all things nature with students. Members of the Outdoor Adventure Club will learn about and be exposed to many fun and exciting outdoor activities, as well as simple ways each individual can do his/her part in taking care of our amazing planet. The objective of this club is to provide an opportunity for students to plan trips, meet people, and enjoy nature. Throughout the year club members will: learn about hiking preparedness and safety; discover nature trails near us, learn about kayaking/canoeing safety, rules, and boating routes near us; learn about "treasure hunting" - shark tooth hunting, arrowhead hunting, magnet fishing, etc.; learn ways we can all work to save/improve our planet; participate in projects that will help improve our community. Most importantly, members will have the opportunity to go on adventure trips and enjoy nature!
