Mrs. Charlotte Smith
If you want to see how to fill someone’s bucket with kindness, then Lisenby Primary School is the place to visit. Since our inception as a primary school in 2015, we have implemented the bucket-filling concept with our staff and students. This positive philosophy permeates the entire school culture. As principal of this early childhood environment, it is my goal to ensure that not only is the school a safe haven for our students and staff, but that the culture of the school infiltrates beyond the school walls. I began my educational career with the Ozark City School System in 1984 at Thompkins Early Childhood Center. I received my Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, and AA Degree from Troy University as well as my administration certification. I received National Board Certification in 2002 and re-certification in 2012. I am married, have 2 wonderful sons and daughters-in law, and a precious granddaughter and grandson. Working in the Ozark City School System has been such a major component of my life and I enjoy providing service to this community every day.
