Degrees and Certifications:
Michelle McDonald is a graduate of Troy University and started her teaching career in Ozark City Schools in 2007 as the director of bands for D.A. Smith Middle School and the associate band director at Carroll High school. She is heavily involved in community outreach for the the performing arts having served as director for the Dothan Community Band and is currently serving as a founding board member of the Dale County Performing Arts Council and co-director of the Dale County Community Choir. Mrs. McDonald is currently perusing her National Board Certification in early adolescent and young adult music education and her masters in Music Education from Troy University. She lives in Ozark with her husband, Carroll High School Band Director and member of the 151st Army National Guard Band- Nick McDonald, and their 3 children; Evan, Levi, and Kara.
