My name is April Slaick and I am one of the self-contained special education teachers at Carroll High School. This is my first year teaching and I am excited to be working at the very school I graduated from many moons ago. I find teaching special education to be rewarding and meaningful. My classroom goal is to make a positive impact and help each student to learn, grow and work toward independence after high school.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a minor in Business Administration from the University of North Alabama in Florence, AL and I am currently attending the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL for my Alternative Master of Education degree in Collaborative Teaching.
