Carroll High School Media Center

The Carroll High Media Center is open Monday - Friday from 7:45 a.m. - 3:10 p.m.  Students may use the library before school, during break and lunch, and after school.  We offer over 8,000 volumes, a computer with the ability to print, and a copy machine.  We encourage students to read.  Research shows that students who read for pleasure perform better academically than their peers who do not read.  It is the mission of the Carroll High School Library to provide access to information for the entire school community, to strengthen and support the curriculum, and to promote literacy and the enjoyment of reading.  Please encourage your student to read.  Read with your student and support them as they explore the world books have to offer.

We have a large selection of ACT and ASVAB Prep study guides, ACCUPlacer and AP study books, that students may check out to prepare for exams.  Please encourage your student to use these resources.

Our Media Center is an inviting place.  We have a lot of space for students to sit and read a book, to finish homework, or to use the student computer for printing assignments.

"Reading may not always teach us to think, but it keeps us supplied with something to think about."
