Welcome to the 2026–2027 School Year
Dear Students, Families, Staff, and Community Members,
It is with great pride and excitement that I welcome you to another school year in Ozark City Schools. As we reflect on the accomplishments of the past year, we have much to celebrate and even more to anticipate as we continue moving our district forward.
The 2025-2026 school year brought remarkable achievements for our students and staff. We experienced significant growth in reading achievement among our second and third grade students, demonstrating the impact of our commitment to early literacy and strong instructional practices. In addition, our students showed impressive gains on the ACT, reflecting their hard work, dedication, and readiness for future success.
We also celebrated an increase in the number of students earning certificates through our partnerships with Wallace Community College and Enterprise State Community College. These valuable credentials provide students with career-ready skills and expanded opportunities for success beyond graduation.
One of our proudest accomplishments was earning the highest district report card score in Ozark City Schools history. This achievement is a testament to the collective efforts of our students, educators, support staff, families, and community partners who work together each day to create outstanding opportunities for learning and growth.
As we begin this new school year, I am excited about the future and the many positive changes we have already implemented throughout our district. These improvements are designed to enhance learning experiences, strengthen student support systems, and ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
We remain committed to providing a safe, engaging, and innovative learning environment where all students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Together, we will continue building upon our successes while embracing new opportunities to serve our students and families.
Thank you for your continued support of Ozark City Schools. I look forward to an exceptional school year filled with growth, achievement, and opportunities for all.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Marsielena Williams
